Pre-K Overview:

     Our Lady of Peace Pre-K will be a time of fun, warmth, exploration and discovery. The children will learn many new and interesting things. They will be
introduced to the alphabet, numbers, shapes, colors, writing and pre-reading skills. The children will learn about God, praying and kindness. This positive early childhood experience will begin to develop a life-long love of learning.

     Hello! My name is Mrs. Coleen LaDonna and I have been teaching Pre-K at Our Lady of Peace School since 2016. I previously taught Pre-K in St. Peter of Alcantara School in Port Washington and St. Catherine of Sienna School in Franklin Square.
     I attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. I received my Master of Science
in Education degree, with a concentration in Early Childhood, from St. John's University. I am a member of two Honor Societies in Education - Kappa Delta Pi and Phi Delta Kappa.

Work packets are available below. Please click on the week to open the work packet and print it out. The packet consists of several Pre-K worksheets. The entire packet should be completed by Friday of the given week. Please hold on to all the packets as they will be collected when we return to school. Please do one week's packet at a time and do not go ahead, as it it important to pace your child's learning. Please pray with and read to your child every day.
