"Skipping grades: Is this practice beneficial or detrimental to a student?" That was the big questionat Wednesday’s 2nd-trimester speech contest! Our students delivered such powerful arguments onboth sides of the debate that the judges had an almost impossible task. In an amazing finish, thecompetition ended in a four-way tie for first place! A huge congratulations to our four winners fortheir incredible research and poise, Olivia (8), Gabrielle (8), Giuseppe (8), and Alexa (8). Specialcongratulations to all our participants. Stepping up to the podium takes real courage, and everyspeaker brought something valuable to their speech.
